Stay, eat, and rest at the castle!
From time to time we are lucky to work with our local cooking school, Le Calabash (le petit conservatoire de cuisine), based in Yzeures sur Creuse. The school is run by Alison and Sidney Bond, both internationally renowned chefs who established the school about 15 years ago.
A few years back Alison and Sid taught me to cook for larger groups of guests. They showed me where to source the best local produce and they suggested a new menu for our table d’hôtes (evening meals). Their professionalism, passion and love of producing excellent food from the freshest of local ingredients has inspired us. So putting this knowledge together, we draw inspiration from both traditional family fayre and classical French cuisine.

We encourage you to book in for our dinner experience. To guarantee the freshness of the dishes offered, you'll need to reserve dinner at least 48 hours in advance to allow us to source the produce. It would be most helpful if you reserve your meal when making your room booking.
