The coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on our small family business. Alas, it's not viable for us to remain open during 2020. We hope the situation will improve, but regrettably we won't open until there is a safe and broadly available vaccine.
As we continue to monitor the situation closely, we will keep you informed via our social media, newsletter and website. For broader information, please refer to the official French advice website - click here.
Please stay safe and well.
CHATEAU BED & BREAKFAST - ENJOY THE DIFFERENCE!
For two years we searched for the perfect Loire Valley hideaway... a special place where our family and friends would love to stay... a property where, when you arrive, you smile and feel all warm inside. By good fortune in 2009 we found 15th century Chateau de La Celle-Guenand!
Nestled in a quiet medieval village and surrounded by some of the Loire Valley’s most famous tourist activities, this is the place we call home. We are not a hotel; on the other hand you will find very comfortable accommodation, authentic character, and an unpretentious attitude.
Our delicious French breakfast is included in the room rate and served on the terrace during the warm months. We are not a restaurant, however during the summer we are inspired by the fresh, seasonal produce of the Touraine, so we can provide you with a home-cooked dinner (see our In-house Menu) if desired.
Whether you are in search of a relaxing getaway an active excursion, or you are just passing through the area, Chateau de La Celle-Guenand will provide you with a unique experience.
We look forward to meeting you!
